KD Music and Arts students proudly represent consistent success in arts performance and in academics. Many pursue careers in the arts. All continue to enjoy the arts as a solid component of a rewarding lifestyle. Early Childhood Music classes are designed to stimulate an enjoyment and appreciation of the arts, to introduce the fundamentals of music: and to prepare the student for successful assimilation into semi-private/small group lessons. The student is introduced to music concepts "from the inside out" with emphasis on experiencing the concept before naming it.
Classes include singing, listening, movement to music and playing rhythm instruments. Currently, KDMA Early Childhood Music is open to children ages 3-6.
The Faculty KD Music & Arts faculty actively participate in the professional forum-in public/private school teaching, arts performances, art exhibits, workshops, professional organizations, and churches. Both experience and enthusiasm assure that your student will receive quality instruction.
